Problem with FM 9.0 in Win 7 Pro

I installed FileMaker 9.0 on my new laptop that has Win 7 Pro 64 bit. Everything seemed to load correctly but when I start FM I get an error message that says make sure you're not behind a firewall blocking port 5003. I uninstalled my MacAfee and opened inbound and outbound ports 5000-5010 for TCP and UDP in Windows firewall but still get the same message. Does anyone have a fix?

Not supported. Even FM10 is iffy. Time for FM11?

Also, wasn't FM9 the version with that horrible "activation/call home" "feature."
