I'm running FM11 Advanced on the Windows platform. I thought that I could compile a runtime version for either Windows or MAC using my standard purchased application. Do I need to purchase add'l software to create a MAX runtime? Right now, I can't locate any MAC runtime information on my install disk.

Runtimes for Macs must be created using FMA on a Mac. You FM license allows you to install on both platforms.
