fed Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Is there a way to use a script to change the 'behaviour' of a field on a layout in browse mode? I have some fields that are not accessible to be changed on a layout, but I would like to have a button to be pressed to allow access to that field. Thanks, Fed
Vaughan Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 What EXACTLY do you mean by "accessible"? Data can be viewed and edited. Which of these do you want to control?
fed Posted February 26, 2011 Author Posted February 26, 2011 Right now, the data can be viewed, and technically it can be edited (ie via script) But the field cannot be accessed (ie the cursor cannot be place into the field) because I have clicked off the 'browse' checkbox in the properties. I would like to be able to switch that checkbox on via script, so that the field can be accessed and the field modified. I hope that is clear.
