SC java.lang.nullpointerexception

Featured Replies

Sometimes (on a Mac) flicking through records that have a SuperContainer on it I get a java.lang.nullpointerexception unexpected error. Sometimes you can see it flick up and then disappear other times you have to click ok. It seems to be when you quickly click through records.

What causes this? Can I stop this showing?

I'm not sure what would be causing this, though it's possible if you have very large image files that you do not already have preview images for at your current window resolution that you supercontainer server connection may be timing out as your server tries to generate the previews of the large files you're switching through.

What version of SuperContainer are you using? Are you generating previews of very large images or pdfs?

Any update on this issue? I'm still having this bug appearing.

It is really an annoying problem.

Give me a call and we can do screensharing and take a look at your issue. Make sure you are using up-to-date plugins (all plugins, not just SuperContainer) and an update SuperContainer Server. The most current version is 2.792.
