Hi Guys, In my database I wish to automatically timestamp a field when data is entered into another field.

ie: I have created a "Signed off" field which would be empty, but when a name is entered into this field I would like another field (Timestamp) to show the date and time this was performed.

I'm sure this is quite easy but currently beyond me.

Thanks in advance for any help offered..

OK Guys 2 minutes after posting this question It hit me how to do it.

I created a script to enter the date and time into the timestamp field, and created a script trigger for the signed off field to implement the script mentioned.

I just love filemaker.
