Well the subject line pretty much say's it all, I want to be albe to fax out of FM5 on a mac. What is the best way and is there one that can be scheduled to to bulk faxing etc?

I used to fax out of FMP4 all the time. Should'nt matter if it's vs5. I used Global Village fax software. It worked like a champ. No different than printing except it faxed. You can spool a bunch of faxes in an "envelope" and send them at 2am for example. Best of all it came free with my Performa and Global Village modem. I think you can get it for free from Global Village.

The Global Village software is ok (I use it), but it can't be fully automated in FM. For a single use, integrated solution, try faxSTF. For multi-user single line, FaxElite is the ticket. The high end, multiline, multiuser solution (at about $5,000) is 4Sight Fax. faxSTF and 4Sight both require an additional AppleScript element for full integration.
