Portal Filtering Using Global Date Fields

Hi everyone. I am new to posting so hopefully I will be able to get my issue accross effectively.

I have a portal that gives me a group of all open invoices. One of the fields in the portal is a follow up date (NextCall). I have two global fields in the header. One is a start date and one is an end date (GlobalStartDate and GlobalEndDate).

My calculation for the filter is NextCall >= GlobalStartDate AND NextCall <= GlobalEndDate. This works fine when I switch from layout view to browse view however when I change the global dates, the portal records won't refresh. But if I go to layout mode then back to browse mode, the records are refreshed. I have tried a few things such as reseting the global fields and committing the records and refreshing the screen, changing modes but nothing except going to layout and back to browse seems to work.

I made sure that the NextCall field is indexed and is a date field and have also checked the global fields to make sure that they are dates as well.

Please HELP!! :)

Do 'Refresh Window [Flush cached join results]'.
