I'm still pretty new to charting and I have come up against a problem that seems like it should be a real easy one to solve.

I have a database that tracks costs for kitchens that my cabinet shop produces.

I'm not having great luck with bar charting CONSTRUCTION BUDGET to EXPENSES TO DATE.

When the difference between these values is significant the bar chart does a good job of representing the difference.

When the difference between these values is small then the proportional comparison gets whacky.

Can anybody look at this attachment and help me make this bar chart behave?

Thanks so much.

I solved the problem!

MiriamG 's attachment from an earlier thread on pie charts did the trick.
