i am trying to print a bunch of travel records under a subsummary. the subsummary holds things like expenses and the like, while the individual line items hold one day per record. there is a diary type field. on some days, there may be a few comments, on others, there may be a long story. i formatted a print layout with sliding objects, but i can't seem to maximize the print area.

would it be possible to have, say, up to a full page for the comments, and shrink it down with sliding when not much space is needed? it doesn't work on the layout i have for some reason - maybe it's because of the subsummary (leading).

When you set sliding objects, are you also asking to reduce the size of the enclosing part?
