Word "Content Controls"

"Scribe can find and replace text in Microsoft Word documents (Word 2007 or later). You can use this to create customized documents from templates in Word. It can also retrieve field names, and read and write form fields in Word created with the Content Controls feature of Word."

There is no mention of "Content Controls" in Word 2008 Mac help. Is this Windows only? Are "Content Controls" also known as...?

Content Controls can only be created in Word 2007 or 2010 on Windows, but you can still use Scribe on mac to modify and fill them in.
