Find button in the toolbar has an arrow to shows recent finds. Is there any way create a script to clear this finds instead of manually clearing them?

There is an "Open Edit Saved Finds" script step that opens the dialog related to saved finds, but that's about it.

My guess regarding the lack of developer control is that saved finds belong to the user, along with the choice of icons to display on the toolbar.

As developer you can remove the Saved Finds command from the menus.
