Has anyone any experience with connecting to a Revit or Autocad file. In other words is it possible to get a meaningful interaction with the CAD programs databases? thanks

I was looking at this problem about six or seven years ago. I am afraid I didn't get very far apart from learning that you can interact with Autocad with a programming language called 'Lisp.'

So maybe that combined with Excel may get somewhere.
