Filemaker server 11 installed.

Have java v 6 .24 and need to update to the latest version of FM (11.03) - the console on http://localhost:16000 points me to the download page.

I go to the download page and find updater 11.03 for server/advanced server, download and attept to run.

The updater unpacks and it appears to work but then I get a Windows Installer dialog box with various switches - and I see that the updater is not actually installing.

I have disabled AV, swicthed off the FM service etc...

Anyone experienced this?

Just a guess, but are you applying the update with the same account that was used for the initial install?

Try running the msi file instead of the setup.exe...
