hello,

First of all thanks for reading this post. I'm a teacher and I've always needed a solution which I could use to manage all the info related to teaching test, attendance etc. so I bought Filemaker pro and started to learn how to use it and began the task of buildng my own solution,

It all went well when until the design of my solution became too complicated so I need your help.

My solution has some fundamental tables:

School Year ---=Courses ----= Students

Courses is also related to Classes (english, chemestry etc) and each class is related to term (each term needs a grade)

up to the grades part it all went well but here is we where the plot thickens

how to I create a table or a relationship which bears at 1 level the course and then the class and then the term?

can anyone help me?

thanks
