Newbies donb Posted August 20, 2001 Newbies Posted August 20, 2001 We use FMP 3.0v6, we have 2 HP 4500 laserjets. We are starting to migrate our computers from Macs to PCs. Many of our reports are too big to fit on a single sheet of paper without reducing the size. The scaling features works fine on the Macs & Win98 machines, but I can't get it to work on the Win2000 Pcs. I have tried using the HP PCL and Postscript drivers as well as the Adobe PS 4.2?? drivers. None of these options work, changing the percentage or using HP's zoomsmart don't even change the scale in preview mode. Using Adobe's PDFWriter as the printer I can rescale the reports in Preview Mode and Print them correctly to PDF, then print the PDF. This two step process is making the users grumpy. Does anyone have any suggestions for a better work around, or another option for postscript drivers for these printers? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
