Newbies PixelDave Posted September 25, 2001 Newbies Posted September 25, 2001 I'm building a Tape Library database, and often I only have to print one or two records at a time. Rather than having to use a new label sheet every time I print, I want to be able to have FM ask me which label position I want to start on. Any suggestions for how best to do this? Any examples available? Thanks!
Vaughan Posted September 25, 2001 Posted September 25, 2001 The solution is conceprtually quite easy: you need a blank record for every label skipped, or some way to "hide" the fields for the skipped records (calculated container fields come to mind). Do you use a laser printer? Running uncovered backing sheet (where the labels have been peeled off) through the fuser roller would make an expensive mess.
DykstrL Posted September 26, 2001 Posted September 26, 2001 Dave, I emailed you a file that shows one solution that does the same thing you want to do.
Newbies photophile Posted October 20, 2002 Newbies Posted October 20, 2002 Any chance of rehashing this? As I have ran into the same problem? Thanks in advance from a new user!
