VirtualBob Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Is there any way to remove the 'New Record' and 'Delete Record' buttons from the GUI header of FileMaker windows? I often accidently hit one of the buttons when I try to reposition a window.
Vaughan Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 The toolbar belongs to the end-user. You can remove the icons from your copy of FMP but these changes do not travel with the database file. Instead, consider either hiding the toolbar, or better yet use custom menus to modify their default behaviour: you can disable the commands so the icons become disabled even if they are displayed.
