July 5, 201114 yr We upgraded from Windows Server 2003 to 2008 R2 64bit and can't bring the server back working again. The admin console downloads the java webstart file "admin_console_init_webstart.jnlp" and hangs (see java console log below). I shut down the entire firewall (2399, 5003, 5013, 16000, 16001, 16004, 16006, 16008, 16010, 16012, 16014, 16016, 16018, 50003 are open over TCP outbound). The server IP is pingable, http://myip:16000 is not. After hours of reading and reinstalling I'm about to give up. Specs: FileMaker Server Advanced 11.03 with Java 1.6.26 I read about the "Anonymous"-User Filemaker expects prior to installation. I set up an user account of that name. Anything beyond that necessary? Great thanks in advance if anyone can give me a hint, Rewolfer.
