Filemaker finds 1st matching record

I am starting a new flat Filemaker data base which is based on a very old multiple relationship data base. I'm using the info found in one data base which has all the info from the other data bases. My match field, the record ID, only gets me to the 1st found matching record. Is there a script or calculation that I could create to get the info found in all related records? I'm sure one of you magicians out there has the answer!

The List() function can do that (if you have version 8.5 or higher*). But why would you prefer a flat table over a relational solution?
