Litter per month different years

Hello,

J need to make calculation how much litter born by month in different year(2000-2011).

J have table DOB

.How do I have to set up this field?

You need four fields;

date of birth

a year calculation; year (DOB)

a month calculation; monthname(DOB)

and a summary field which is count(DOB)

For a quick reference find a year and month and read the count.

for output across a range of dates, you need create a report layout. I suggest you study your help reference and see how to make a subsummary report.

Use two subsummaries

: year

: and Month

Place the summary field in the month part. (and year if you wish)

Sort by year and month and you will create a report of any found record set.
