October 31, 200124 yr I've got 3 pages of text that I need to print in 2 columns per page from a single layout. All the text comes from one field. I can't figure out how to get the copy to flow from one column to another and then break to the next page. Any suggestions?
November 8, 200124 yr You might be able to do it with a few calculation fields. You could test to see how many characters are and use the "Middle" Function to grab sections of your text field. And then split it up among the different fields. If your column report is multple pages long you might have one layout stretched two pages long. You would need 6 calculated fields to breakup your one text field.

The last sentence doesn't always end near the right margin and the column heights are always different depending on how many extra carriage returns there are. Judging from my own experience and the replies on this and other support groups, I've determined that this is basically impossible. Oh well, thanks for the input! Keith
