Vaughan Posted November 2, 2001 Posted November 2, 2001 Folks Here is a tip, not a question. this morning a client of mine asked me to look at a layout in their db (I didn't create the db, but I am completely revising it). The label layout was printing OK, down first then across in three columns, but one record would "disappear" at the end of each column. Weird. I thought at first the client was confused and the labels weren't printing right, lke mis-alignment or something. I went to have a look and assumed it was a print driver problem, since it was on a Windows machine and the client reported that they had the problem but another user on a different machine did not. New drivers did not help. Looking at the layout it looked OK but had no footer so I added one. No diffference. Then on a hunch I checked the Body part options and sure enough the options "allow part to break across page boundaries" and "discard remainder of part before new page" were selected. Uncheck them and all is safe and well in the Universe again. Golden rule: follow those hunches!
pspafford Posted November 4, 2001 Posted November 4, 2001 Eureka! I had this same problem. Thanks Vaughan. Paul
