I cant seem to find how to configure & print address lables from my FM 3.0 DB ! Surely it must be really simple? I'm about to start a big mail out so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Go to layout mode, new layout, select labels and choose from about 100 standard labels by number. You can't have looked very hard! wink.gif" border="0 .

Hey I am having the same problem with filemaker 5.V1 I can get them to where they look nice on paper but they do not match up to 5160 labels I am using please email me if you can help! mad.gif" border="0

I prefer to post answers on the forum where they can benefit more people.

After you have selected the correct label layout, you may still have to "tune up" the layout for the particular printer you are using. This involves changing the size of the header and the body part to make the labels fit. I ususally use regular paper and hold the printed result up to a bright light behind a sheet of labels. This way I don't waste a bunch of labels in the adjustment of the layout.

In some cases, you may not be able to print all 30 labels. Many of the HP InkJet printers will not print on the last 3/4" at the bottom of the page. Avery 5160 labels have a 1/2" bottom margin, so there is not way to make this work for a 30 labels. Also, WYSIWYG is much better on the Mac than on a PC. Some layouts on the PC will not be even close on the screen to what prints (especially for HP InkJet printers).

Create a different layout and repeat the alignment process for each different type of printer used.
