thezed Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Hi, I have recently installed FileMaker Server to host a database that I want to be accessible on 2 iPads through FileMaker Go. It works wonders but there seems to be no password or security to open the database. Anyone with an iPad and FileMaker Go in the range of my network can potentially connect to my database. How can I set up a password when connecting to the database from FileMaker Go? Many thanks!
Steven H. Blackwell Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Something isn't correct here. Check the hosted file to see what credentials they have and that the auto log-on option hasn't been checked. FileMaker GO fully supports the unified security model, both for internal FileMaker accounts and for externally authenticated ones. Steven
