How to disable keyboard shortcuts?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I keep finding how to CREATE keyboard shortcuts, but not how to disable them. I don't want my users to accidently delete or duplicate a record.

I would like to do this on Mac and Windows machines.

Can anyone help?

SecureFM from New Millennium Communications, an FSA Partner, is what you wnat. It can disable any menu item and the related keyboard items, including contextual menus. Works on Windows and on MAc OS 8 and 9. The MAc OS X version is not out yet. Free demo on their web site:

If you're going to be at MAcWorld NMCI will be demoing in the FMI corporate booth.

Old,

Great, I wanted to see San Fran anyway.

Maybe you can also tell me what I need to initiate the script when I tab into the field?

I found that Oazium Events have that plug-in, but for 10 users they want $400 !!! Is there anything else out there?

Thanks

Troi has a plugin that you should look at: www.troi.com which may handle triggering scripts
