I lost sub-field in preview mode

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've some strange printing problems. I created a column layout for printing with a general field, a sub-field and fields in the body with totals and sub-totals. So, in preview mode everything is fine and looks like that :

General Field

sub-field

Field

But if I delete some records for instance, I lost the display, and the printing, of the General field and sub-field. Interestingly, If I created another layout, like the one above, everything turns fine again, even for the corrupted layout !!

In user mode, I can see all the fields without any troubles.

Of course, I've checked the fields "printing setup", I changed printers, etc...

I used FMPro 5.0v3 but I've the same problem with FMPro 5.5,

So, I'll appreciate any help,

In advance Thank you,

Summaries need to be sorted by the break field -- the field selected in the sub-summary part. When you delete or add records, the database is no longer sorted. Try sorting it each time the report is viewed or printed.

Scripts are good to automate the process.

It's so easy !!

I sorted the summary, and everything works fine. As you suggested, I did sorting with a Script.

Thanx a lot
