Can i create a portal with a global events?

Featured Replies

Hello ,

i want to know if i can create a portal that shows all the events of new records?

for example: everytime any user creates a new record , show in the portal the record title, the person-user who creates the record, time,?

please let me know,

thank you

mauricio

First think about your description of "new" record. All records start off new. When do they become "old"?

You could make a global date field and use this to display all records created after a defined date.

You would need to create a related table that would capture the events that occur for those records. Such as record modification, Creation user, creation date. Relate them with a PK -- FK relationship. Create a layout based on the record table and place the portal on that layout showing records from your "events" table.
