Spammers I hate them!!!

Does anyone know how to set WebSTAR to allow Lasso to send email without having the SMTP forward / relay

left open for non pop account holders?

I have had 8,000 emails pass through my SMTP server in the last 24 hours thankfully not all spam my poor old Mac setup is still smoking!

I've had various internet authorities on my back all day wanting to know what I'm doing about it.

I've shut down the SMTP Mail server for now but I need email response from my database.

Help!

I solved it by closing port 25 on my router.

I s'pose I could have done the same with a firewall. I don't need to recieve email to the mail server so closing the router port seemed the most bullet proof option.

It's a shame there are a few people making life hard for the rest of us!
