MightyData Seeks Senior Software Developer - FileMaker Emphasis

MightyData, a Platinum Member of the FileMaker Business Alliance, has been providing custom database and web solutions to our customers for 15 years. We are a virtual company (everyone works remotely) and want our team members to have a life outside of a 40-hour week. We are a small company and value input from each team member into the growth of business. Our benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, profit sharing and health insurance.

This opening is for a senior developer on our software team. Our primary technologies are FileMaker and PHP/MySQL. We are also expanding into SaaS and PaaS platforms. You should be able to hit the ground running with FileMaker and be excited about integrating it with other platforms. A passion for FileMaker is key because you will help promote MightyData through our blog, newsletter and other avenues. You will also be expected to pass the FileMaker Certified Developer Exam during your first 90 days.

A typical day at MightyData could include determining the scope for a new project, adding a new feature or fixing a bug in an existing project, coaching a customer to develop his own FileMaker system, writing a blog post about an existing aspect of technology (FileMaker or something else), contributing to internal discussions about marketing or new products and services, contributing to internal projects, and interacting closely with our Dean of Success (project manager) to deliver excellence to our customers.

The salary for this position is $60K-70K depending on your experience and skill set.
