I want to make a connection from Dreamweaver UltraDev to FM5. Macromedia says that there is no mac only solution. There must be a way. Any ideas?

No, UltraDev works with most other standards like Cold Fusion, SQL, ODBC. FileMaker is more or less proprietary. Lasso is the best Middleware for FMP.

Since most database stabdards were and are set on PC's, connections will have to be made to a PC server. Possibly OS X with mySQL. Check the Macromedia site for more info, they say what is supporte on the product page.
