Do I need all the Runtime Files?

Hello All.

Firstly apologies for posting in this forum, I couldn’t find a more suitable forum to post in.

I'm new to developing FM for others to use. I have built a couple of FM solutions for use in-house but recently, i made a solution for a friend.

As he is the only person to use this and it defiantly won't need to connect to external sources or be shared, I provided this as a runtime solution to save him purchasing FM.

I run os x and created a runtime on a windows pc for him to use it on a windows machine.

My questions arise now there are edits to make, are there any best practices for doing this?

I can open and edit the runtime but we are transferring the whole set of files back and forwards every time (as he is not local), is this necessary? or can we just work on the .usr file?

Any assistance or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
