Can we resize the image size in FileMaker application through script?

No...Not by script directly.

But you can do 1 thing.

1. Duplicate the layout where that image is placed.

2. Resize that image .......on that duplicated layout.

3. Now when you will click on button/Image from original layout->just by script step "change the layout to duplicate one" , it will look like resizing.

How about the possibility of changing the file size such as resolution by script?

I have added a few photos to my FM for student ID, but noticed the overall DB size has bown right up from a couple of MB to nearly 60MB with just 10 photos added.

I inserted the photos directly from my iPhone.
