I have recently been searching around for a template or plug-in that would do bibliographies through FileMaker, and was astonished that I was not finding many options. I thought that bibliographies would be a very common need, but I was surprised that most of the mentions I heard of were all out of date.

After digging around for quite awhile on Google and the FMP forums, I found an old mention of Referencer, created by Glen Greenberg, which is a FMP db for bibliographic references. It is pretty amazing, and quite powerful for generating bibliographies and keeping record of content abstracts and files. A great template to work with. I have absolutely no personal connection to this product, I just think its a great resource and that more of us should be aware of it before we slog into coding bibliographic databases from scratch.
