I have a simple time entry collection filemaker go solution that hooks up to my server

Employee ID, Date, Time start, Time end

I need to validate that the employee doesn't overlap times (enter 8-5 twice for the same date).

I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
