I have a solution that is based at company A and company B also needs to gain access to the database. Along with a few other remote users form different locations.

Apart from having a dedicated broadband line between the two companies.

What is the fastest way to share data?

I was thinking a terminal server? However, I am not sure how quick that will be and will it be any quicker than just using regular broadband and using the remote connection on the regular server??

Terminal Services, Citrix, Aqua Connect, etc. will generally be "faster" than a remote WAN FileMAker Pro client to FileMaker Server connection. This is because the Terminal Services type connections send on;y keyboard, video, and mouse.

Such solutions are expensive. Try the WAN client to server connection first.
