Newbies rgrimsha Posted June 25, 2001 Newbies Posted June 25, 2001 If I create graphics for buttons in Photoshop and import them, does Filemaker convert them to bitmap, or should I spnd time optimizing them prior to importing them?
Newbies darkhorse Posted July 10, 2001 Newbies Posted July 10, 2001 the graphic format viewed in a browser seems always to be jpeg - it doesn't seem to matter what format the image actually is, either when pasted into the relevant field or if it's calling on a separate folder ... and it's not just that but the jpeg can look pretty awful viewed via the filemaker database! quote: Originally posted by Rob Grimshaw: If I create graphics for buttons in Photoshop and import them, does Filemaker convert them to bitmap, or should I spnd time optimizing them prior to importing them?
Newbies darkhorse Posted July 11, 2001 Newbies Posted July 11, 2001 just wanted to qualify something: it's when the image is stored in the filemaker database that it looks terrible in a browser - no matter how hard you worked on an image! - but this shouldn't apply to an image stored in a folder located outside the database .... obviously!
BigBen Posted March 11, 2002 Posted March 11, 2002 Is there a way to make then look better on the Web?
