Is it possible to include a file located in a container field (stored on the server, not in the database) from a current record when I use the send e-mail script in filemaker?

yes. The remote container feature is just all about letting FMS manage where the container data is stored. From inside FM it behaves exactly like a regular container. So you don't need to worry about trying to locate the container data by its path or anything like that.

The feature is not meant to to allow manipulation of the container data from outside FM...
