Via Custom Menu, Keyboard Shortcut not working from PC

Featured Replies

Under Custom Menus, I've added a Menu Item to the File Menu that runs a Script. From Mac or PC, you can select this Menu Item, and it will successfully run the Script.

But I added a Keyboard Shortcut ( Control + I, that's the letter i) and the Keyboard Shortcut only works from a Mac not a PC. Any ideas why?

Under "Include on Platform", both Mac and PC are checked.

Using Script Debugger, I can see the script does run activate at all.

can you make it run from the menu itself? Also did you name your item in the custom menu?

Thank you. Yes, on a Mac or a PC, the user can select the script from the File menu and the script successfully runs. And from either Mac or PC, it lists "Control+I" to the right as if you could use these keyboard commands -- but on the PC it only actually runs if you select it from the menu.

Yes, in the "Edit Custom Menus" window, in the field Item Name, I have given it a name.

Does this give you any ideas?

Do you have software on the PC such as hotkey software? Could you upload a stripped down version of your file so that I can check on my PC
