Being a Mac user I'm not very familiar with Filemaker aspects on Windows.

In the past I was very disappointed by two aspects of FM on Windows XP. One was that resizing a page in Print Setup would not allow more content to be printed, but instead it just made things smaller and chopped off content at the side and bottom of a page. Today a colleague showed me that this problem no longer exists with FMP v12 on Windows 7.

My second complaint about FM on the Windows platform seems not to have changed. That is the fact that individual application windows continue to be confined to a larger application frame, instead of being free-floating - almost like something from Windows 95.

Does anyone have other observations about improvements to FM on the Windows platform?
