"Other Symbol" -> Inspector -> Date format

Featured Replies

I used "Other Symbol" to return "Current Date" and then in Inspector I choose custom date format.

Without any understandable reason I got back date format in Serbian language.

I'm from Serbia but my FileMaker 12 Advanced is set to English as default language as well as my Windows7 Ultimate.

I want date to see in English, no matter from where I'm watching at it.

Does anyone know is there some solution to make Inspector returning date in English or I just found a bug?

Best Regards

I get the same result with a Mac OS X Snow Leopard system using English as System Language, but then I found that

the date format in System Preferences was set to “German”. Changing it to “US” gave me a date formatted for US.

I guess this works similarly in Windows, so you may want to check if the date format in your Window System Settings is set to “Serbian”.

Thanks Eos, that was it!

For Windows users: ControlPanel ->Change Date and Time ->Region and Language ->Formats
