In FM Go, is there any way to lock the 'show toolbar' menu option in the 'off' state?

I don't want my users to be able to add/delete records or to perform finds other than through scripted buttons on the layouts.

    I'm going to rephrase my question:

    If I create custom menus in my solution using FM Advanced, will FM Go 'respect' them? E.g., If I want to disable the new record/delete record menu items in the solution - and have a custom menu that does that - will someone accessing the solution using FM Go still be able to add/delete a record?

    Use custom menus. In the Records menu, remove EVERYTHING except for the Refresh Window command. You could remove the Records menu completely but then the Refresh Window command won't be available.

    It's better to restrict new record and delete using access privileges.

    So that will disable those functions in FM Go as well?

    Yes tomp, it will work fluently, without getting any interruption. Options will be there but it will be hidden.

    The menu items cannot be removed from FM Go -- read the tech brief and development guide.
