XML import doesn't import records anymore

I'm trying to work out why my xml import has stopped importing records. This is a routine I have used periodically and has worked as expected. Now, when I view the import step I can see the xml file itself, the stylesheet and the import order but when I run it it doesn't import the the records (e.g. found set = 0).

The files themselves are located on a FP server. I've also tested it running on my desktop, but get the same result (e.g. no records)

Any advice would be most welcome.
