Does this new version of SC compatible with IWP on FMS12 on 64bit Mac OS?

* Fixed an issue with uploads using plugin or applet when server is deployed with FMS Web Publishing

So does this mean that it work now?

Thanks.

No, it does not work to fix the inherent issue with FMS12 (as that issue relates to FM12 not having a 64-bit plugin API). The issue noted in the change log refers to an issue with SC deployed on the WPE on Windows machines, which prevented uploads. The change log could have definitely used a more detailed description. My apologies for the confusion.

This is a real shame for us, we use SC for IWP uploads (one of SC's key features now FM has native external container storage) but it seems we will have to keep running FMS11 for our solutions that use SC on IWP.

We really do not want to downgrade our servers to 32bit; Is there a workaround?

No. Unless FileMaker release a 64-bit plug-in API or releases an update to FileMaker server which has a separate 32-bit process to handle plugins for the Web Publishing Engine, then we are all (for lack of a better word), stuck.
