Which starter solution or solutions ?

I just got a new job, and this is my first post to the community here. I have used FM long ago and am looking to refresh my skills and see if it can provide a solution.

I am managing and tracking the "rentals," of assets for a large company.

The company has 40 plus employees who sign out and sign in equipment.

I maintain the inventory, and purchase new equipment as needed.

I would like to computerize this process and go paperless.

Ideally I want a Contact like database integrated with Inventory, Asset Management, Scheduling, Projects and a Calendar.

I need to create an Employee Contact database from where I can press a button to create an Equipment Sign Out record Within the Contact database it will keep an itemized history of sign out and returns. The equipment assigned to each employee during each equipment sign out will be checked out of the inventory record list and able to be tracked in an asset management record. One signed out the equipment can not be assigned to another employee until the equipment is checked back in.

It would also be great to integrate with a calendar to visually see the line by line to week by week equipment date scheduling ( signed out length )

Lastly I would love to have this online so that the employees could view the calendar and at some point sign out equipment themselves online.

I know this is a large undertaking but will the built in starter solutions in FM allow much of what I have described ? Can I use The FM contact template and export info to a FM starter solution Asset Management Template which pulls info from the FM inventory template ?

And if the FM templates might work to begin with, would I just " copy and paste," each required template into one single .fp7 file instead of having multiple .fp7 files ?

Just hoping for some thoughts on the most efficient programming for me to make my job more efficient.

Has anyone used seedcode template with a asset/inventory management template ?
