I'm running FMP 5.0 v5 on an iMac W/ OS 9.04

Is there a command (CDML) to force the Web Security DB to release the ClienUserName ?

I need a way to log users out so that a different user can login from the same physical machine.

Or does anyone know if the Web Security Database login has a timeout?

I guess thsat pople are connectingto the database via the WWW (Web Companion).

This question of web users needing to "log out" has popped up elsewhere in the forum. The answer is that web users are never "logged in" but the *web browser* itself remembers the userid and password. Especially MsIE.

You solution lies at the browser, not the server or cdml. Just get them to either close the browser window or restart the browser application itself (unless the solution uses persistent cookies which is another story).
