Try creating two files in FM 4 with a single field in each. Name them "Main" and "records".

In the records file create a script that will create a new record. In the Main file create a script which performs the external script in the records file and ad the line Halt Script at the end.

In the Main file put a button on the layout which will run the script you have created. Turn on filesharing in both files.

Now open the files on host machine (Mac or PC) and then on slave machine.

If you simultaneously press the save button on each computer, you will eventually will get a coffee cup and the system will hang.

This problem is solved in version 5!
