How to paste same field information to all fields in same column (i.e. copy and paste to all)?

How do you copy and paste a field information such that i can then paste it to all of the other fields in that column? Like the copy and paste feature in excel.

Most likely the Replace Field Contents command from the Records menu is what you mean.
