MacEasy Computing Inc Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Hi, I use supercontainer for several of my clients. The one difficulty I have run into is on IWP checking to see if the user uploaded their document. Often they select it, but then don't click the upload button. In filemaker I can do that using this check (below) or use the plugin, but this doesn't work on IWP any recommendations? PatternCount(GetLayoutObjectAttribute ("supercontainer"; "Content");"<a id=\"download\" href")>0 Sincerely Peter
ooparah Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Hey Peter, A good way to check whether a document has been uploaded in IWP is to make use of the SuperContainer Companion plugin function, "SCGetInfo()"... this will return an uploaded file's information if one exists. For example: If( GetValue( SCGetInfo( "/path/to/file" ) ; 1 ) ≠ "" ) Show Custom Dialog[ "File already uploaded" // p.s. No dialog boxes in IWP -- just for illustration End If This would get the filename (if one exists) of an uploaded file. If a filename is returned, then something has been uploaded to that particular folder path in SuperContainer. Hope this makes sense. If you have any additional questions, let me know. Regards,
