Wickerman
I'm setting up various charts for a client and am wondering, beyond allowing them to view these metrics within a Filemaker display, or printing out from a layout designed for that purpose, if there are other means of allowing users to make use of the charts -- for example, in a Power Point or Word document. On my Mac, I'm always happy to just take a screen-shot of the chart and use that image (Is there a built-in screenshot function for PC's?). Using FMP anchors on the chart you can set up a chart so that it can be sized as desired just by changing the window size. Poking around this forum, I saw a three-step process for emailing charts that involved (1) getting an image of the chart into a container field. How is that achieved within Filemaker? What other techniques or best practices are there for angling a client to make use of charts outside of FMP? THanks for any tips!
