Newbies Harmen Posted May 11, 2001 Newbies Posted May 11, 2001 Hi, I get a message saying that 'the webcompanion cannot share files over the web because of a network error (-3)'. I'm trying to configure the webcompanion on a win2000 box (standalone) so that the TCP/IP port is 591 rather than 80. Every time I change it from 80 I get this message. I'm trying to configure Lasso/Dreamweaver/FMP. Why does Win2000 not like this? Harmen
JerrySalem Posted May 15, 2001 Posted May 15, 2001 I think that an error code of '-3' means that TCP/IP is not running or you are not connected to a network. also some unsolicited advice. Why don't you first try to get Web Companion working on port 80 first. Once that is working, then worry about changing the port. hope this helps Jerry
