Hi,

I get a message saying that 'the webcompanion cannot share files over the web because of a network error (-3)'.

I'm trying to configure the webcompanion on a win2000 box (standalone) so that the TCP/IP port is 591 rather than 80. Every time I change it from 80 I get this message.

I'm trying to configure Lasso/Dreamweaver/FMP.

Why does Win2000 not like this?

I think that an error code of '-3' means that TCP/IP is not running or you are not connected to a network.

also some unsolicited advice.

Why don't you first try to get Web Companion working on port 80 first. Once that is working, then worry about changing the port.
